Here are some social bookmarking sites you may have missed, but you should be aware of their existence. No they are not part of the top 10 social bookmarking sites, but they also aren’t your average Pligg site, although Pligg development seems to be moving forward.

101out.com – This site made it on the front page of reddit with the title A Reddit-like website I made in 20 days.

Ballhype – A sports bookmarking site that has been featured on TechCrunch that “tracks more than 1,600 sports blogs to find great content so you don’t have to.” If you are sports fan it may also be worth checking out RUWT.

Picli – A new social photo site where you can link to or upload your photos and have them be voted on.

Spotplex – Insert Spotplex code into your blog and whenever your articles are read, they will show up on Spotplex.

ThinkFa.st – A site with a similar feel to reddit that focuses on business, economics and financial related news. (Full Disclosure: I have a stake in this site. As if you couldn’t tell by all of my submissions).
